This build is many years in the making. Every couple of years I sell a muzzleloader or two to fund the next build or purchase. Each time doing an Encore build was one of the finalists but for one reason or another I always went a different route, not this time. I have been gathering parts since January and yesterday the barrel arrived and after I got the kids to bed I got to spend some long awaited shop time. I had ordered all the parts from Bellm to do a trigger job so thats where I started. The factory trigger pull was id guess a stiff 7-8lbs with some creep. After all the Bellm parts were installed its id guess 2.5-3lbs and super crisp, perfect! Feel and balance of a rifle is very important to me. And this thing is spot on! I mean absolutely perfect! I feel like I could still hunt with this for days and be happy as a clam. It’s nice and compact, not to heavy, not to light, perfect! I really liked my Mountaineer with the Ultralite stock I had before this but even with added the ultralite stock it just didn't balance the way I liked and didn't fit my style of hunting. I had the Leupold VX6 of the Knight and was able to mount it easily for perfect eye relief. I have to figure out the extractor yet but I think I am going to like this thing!

Looks pretty nice! Curious about its range performance ;)

It shoots great from the few range sessions I have had with it. Really need to spend more time with it but the potential is there for sure. As for cost just going off memory without looking for receipts I'll list my best guess on prices below.

Frame- $300
Bellm trigger upgrades $150ish
Barrel/Breech plug/Modules/ram rod/scope base and sizing die from Hankins I think was around $1250
Stock- $150ish

That would be my best guess. I bought everything at different times after I sold off other guns and the money was available.

I have a different scope on it now so didn't include that price.
