I was on vacation last week, and missed that they were in stock. They sure sold out quick.
I talked to them a couple weeks ago. They had 25 coming in and all were sold through back order. They told me they were getting a second order in June but I went with the 1/20 twist u lite since I hate waiting and I don’t like backorder . So they sold out fast cause they were already spoken for before they received them

SG says they have them in stock. $100 off the price if you're a member.

Just reading the description in the GB ad sounds like the guy is a dealer. Bet he ordered some that way, kind of a "Dealer Exclusive".

That's the way I read it too!

There is a Bergara custom shop in Georgia. My guess is that's where the "Special Edition" is being assembled.

Agree, but that stock costs way too much. I would be happy with a price of $750 for the rifle in a Ridge Stock.

Still looking for bore dimensions from someone who has slugged one of these CVA .45 barrels.

Sorry Rich, it won't be me. There was someone on here that said he was expecting his 3 or 4 weeks ago, IIRC? I haven't heard a peep from anyone that has bought one yet.

I'm still waiting for them to put it in the Accura MR before I bite!

I finally got one coming from distribution. Back visiting family in Iowa first part of week, so might be next week before I really get into it.

I could tolerate the PR but not the 8+lbs of the LR and its 30" barrel. The 50cal LR is a claimed 8+lbs so i imagine the 45cal will be slightly more unless the barrel contour is smaller. I just have no interest in another 45cal weighing in at over 8lbs before adding a scope. I already have one and its fine for what it is. I just want something lighter that dont cost a grand.

I have one. Been shooting it a couple weeks. It definitely blows gas back from the primer adapter. Any ideas on how to seal that up? Its pretty accurate at 100 yards which is all I can do at the range here. Shooting Hornady SLX sabots and 100g Triple 7 waiting on blackhorn powder, No one has it on the islands. I do have an order for 5lbs coming soon.

If you are getting blowback with Triple 7 and sabots I’m afraid Blackhorn and land riding bullets will leak significantly worse. I guess time will tell .

Not to say someone can not fix the leaking .

Mine arrived a couple of days ago... It's got potential to be a decent factory gun, but they definitely dropped the ball going with the VF. The "self-headspacing" bolt is a novelty in my opinion. I can easily depress the spring with my hand, so I have no idea how it's supposed to seal under a heavy does of BH209.

Inserting the VF modules by hand is very challenging. If you think hooking brass modules in a rem 700 bolt is hard, you aint seen nuthin yet. Definitely better off using a tool to insert them.

I haven't had time to size a bullet for an exact fit, but a .4508 bullet I had here made it about halfway down before I had to gently push it the rest of the way through with a ramrod.

I think I've pretty much got the concept down of how I'm going to convert it over to the Arrowhead Gen2 system, but it's going to take a little bit of time to get it all ironed out.

I ordered one just to play with and see how it shoots. Was told by CVA delivery first week of April. Not a fan of paying for something and waiting 2 or 3 months to get it.
Awfully Shilly in here.

They'll probably release it when it's ready.
Anyone shoot this gun yet? Anyone purchase one yet? Waiting to see accuracy reports from anyone who has their hands on one. Found a store that has 4 in stock but afraid to say where as I am close to saving up enough cash to purchase one. Shoulda put one on layaway as soon as I found it.
