Bison

I found one no pics of gun out of stock {pics of every think else look good tho}i was wondering if any of you Bison owners have 1 or 2 recoil lugs?Also says wood painted stock but it looks to me like a B&C stock.I don't see White's up here in the Great White North that often so i buy um when i can.

Bisons have one lug as I remember. Mine had a myrtle stock. Great shooters!

So was it a B&C stock or Myrtle wood?

Not sure going to be away so i told him to wait to ship

My guess is it will be a Myrtle wood stock. I had one in a .540. Excellent gun. Sold it in a downsizing and wish I still had it.

I reinforced the pistol grip of the stock with an oak dowel. I posted the entire job on here somewhere. It's probably good insurance as they've been known to split.

I got it today and it's Myrtle because it cam in two pieces,broken at the wrist thank you Canada post.Don't know what will happen right now,i emailed the seller to get his thoughts on how to make it right.
When i saw the pictures in the ad it was in one piece.GRRRRR

Yes Larry i've came to close on more than one occasion to trees when quading and snapped stocks off.Bush fix duck tape is your friend lol then shot to verify point of aim then shoot your moose oh ya baby

Bummer, so sorry to hear that happened to your rifle. My Bison has the composite stock, I don't think too many of them did. I'm pretty sure if you take your sweet time gluing it back together with the dowels it will be as strong or stronger than it ever was.

What Art said,,,,but use a comparable piece of "all-thread" instead of a wooden dowel. Much stronger and the threads allow the glue to grip better.

i know i have a B&C here if i feel the need to shoot it still haven't shot the last 4 or 5 that arrived here found acouple Knights 2 but i wound talk bout that here
