I would go with Swiss 3F like the others. If you can't find it then I guess 777-3F. Then again depending on what type of ML you are shooting you may like BH209? Don't recommend BH with a Plunger style ML>

Pyrodex is good powder BUT it tends to be VERY corrosive. A single thorough cleaning is not enough to protect a rifle when you have fired much Pyrodex. I would recommend cleaning thoroughly again about a week later. And then check it again after it has spent some time in the cabinet/safe.

777-fff I've been using for a number of years. Just ran out and I'm going to try 777-ff.

If your charge was say 70gr of 777-3F, you may need to increase it to 80gr of 2F to get simular results.
Thanks for the info Ed.

I'm going to the range on Tuesday to try out the 2F. I've been using 80gr so I'll start 85.
