White UltraMag in .504. The rifle is in superb condition. Trigger is set VERY light and crisp - easily adjusted for heavier trigger pull if desired. Comes with scope base but doesn't include the Burris scope and qd rings. There will also be included an assortment of items that will make this rifle a great bargain at $650 shipped (to CONUS).

There are certainly some here that can attest to the condition of my rifles.

CVA ACCURA MR stainless/black - never been loaded - mint condition - sans scope and rings $375 shipped (CONUS) $510 w/ old Leupold 3x9 and qd rings. Scope looks pretty rough but works just fine. Will also include the factory accessories (as best I can FIND them).

Tikka Whitetail .270 Win in great condition. Rifle has probably been fired 30-40 times and comes sans scope but will include Tikka rings. $550 shipped CONUS to your FFL.

I will try to add more pictures below. Having trouble with the Gallery just now.

Nice Umag . If I wasn’t a squirrel gun fanatic I would be interested but them elephant guns make me jerk just thinking about pulling the trigger. Somebody in Colorado where they make you use a 50 for elk should jump on it .

This is the fancy set up ;) where I shot both those groups with the UltraMag. I don't think either of the groups was fired on that particular day. My friend's bench was too low for me so I always had to get into ridiculous position to shoot there. Could still hold pretty steady though. Distance to target was actually a bit over 100 yards.
Those were much better days as far as both mine and Dave's health are concerned.

Really nice Rich! Hope you are still feeling well enough to shoot the spots off them balls.

Would seriously consider it if I didn't already have one. Have you ever used Blackhorn 209 powder? I've not even shot mine yet so I'm needing to get a starting place using Bullshop conicals.

I for one can attest to the care and quality of Rich's rifles. I bought his .451 M97 years ago, that one of my grandsons claimed as his! And it's one of the most accurate ones I have.

Art, even that is getting to be too much but I still manage to play well sometimes.

COLOelkman, I've not used Blackhorn209 in the Umag. Action really isn't designed for it and I don't have a 209 plug for it. I think it might get a bit problematic. :) Have used Triple7 but the Swiss is the tack-driver. I've got some Bullshops and some Trashcans to include with this rifle. Shipping is going to be rough. By the way, your UltraMag is a very nice looking outfit! I HAVE to use optics so I took my irons off long ago, but they may be in my gun case if I can find them. o_O ...ps: I would recommend you try that load I show at the bottom of the cloverleaf group. I know you would be using Bullshops but last I knew he was making some similar to the Trashcans - at least weight-wise. T7 is okay but is tougher to deal with that Swiss. Swiss is true black but shoots pretty clean and is easier to clean up afterward. I do not recommend Pyrodex - it can be accurate but is also some horribly nasty stuff, even a week after your first cleaning. And I don't think BH209 is the right choice for the rifle. Mine likes the lead sized to .5038.

Ed, thanks for the endorsement. This rifle is in the same shape as the one you got. It has been fired more but is still in excellent shape.

If someone is local to Greenfield, MO. - I could sell them some powder at a very good price. Pyrodex, T7, and Swiss.

I have to fess up the rest of the story on that cloverleaf group above. That was to be an entry in the DWBs shoot that year and I prepped everything to shoot that group. I had carefully weighed each charge of Swiss and put each one in its own capped tube. I inspected the RWS 1075 caps to make sure each of them had a nice even coating of igniter. Each of several of the Trashcans was weighed, visually inspected and matched to the others. Each wad was chosen because it looked perfect.

Dave was watching from a bit behind me using a spotting scope. He remained mum during my shooting except to say "looks good" which was a pretty generic description and didn't cause me to get excited. The bore was sparkling clean and dry for each shot (that's how I loaded to hunt). Each shot was spaced at 5 minute intervals to allow barrel cooling. I loaded as identically as I possibly could for each shot. All was well.

After those first three shots I made the mistake of getting up and looking through the spotting scope. THAT made me nervous! I had a cigarette. Then I sat down to take take shot number 4. I hadn't even raised my head when I announced that I had blew it!! I knew I had pulled to the right and said so. Dave confirmed.
Shot 5 was loaded quickly and amounted to an "I don't care now" shot.

And here is the final result:

As it says, I was heartbroken. But that was ME and not the rifle.

I can also attest to the care UC takes with his firearms. They will be as he states.

There is now a hold on the sale of the UMag until after next Tuesday.

Feel free to buy the other two rifles now though. :)

I can't edit this post but the UltraMag is sold and will be on its way to new owner on Monday.
