I just picked up a very nice Renegade. Didn't need it but couldn't pass up the price. It has a single trigger instead of the set set triggers. There is a small plug screw on the barrel just up from where it joins the breech. Can someone tell me what it's purpose is? Any idea what size screw the hole holds? I was thinking of putting a Skinner Low Pro sight there?

As always, thanks for any help.

The screw on top of the breechplug is used in conjunction with the rear sight holes to mount the scope mount TC offered for these guns so’s ya don’t hafta drill any holes in yer barrel.

I too just picked up a TC Renegade that I couldn't pass on the price and it came with a TC Peep-Sight so I had to get her!
So far she shoots like a dream with 80grs Goex 2F and a Hornady 350gr FPB out to 100yds.
