This is the only deer I shot last year. Got her with my Knight 50 Cal. Used a 320 grain Maxi-ball and 80 grains of Black MZ. Bullet quartered through her and stopped under hide at off side shoulder. She traveled about 20 yards.

Congrats on your success. Welcome to the forum. Every time I have a big doe walk by, my mouth starts watering, drooling, and slobbering just thinking about good it would taste.:welcome:.

Welcome to the site. Nice Doe. Got a bunch of chunks from a Doe in the Crock pot right now with some BBQ sauce. :drooling:

welcome, and congrats.I have taken lotsa does. A landowner where I hunted said she could taste the difference between a doe and a buck. It's all good meat to me. Told the wife recently I wanted to get a doe mount to honor the many animals that fed my family.

My boss tans the hides of some of the does he shoots and they look great If you don't want the expense of a mount, a tanned deer hide looks great on the wall.

Yep she just couldn't recover from a case of LEAD poisoning I love it Congrats sir nice big doe!
