I used to have an old Johnny Stewart caller (bought in the 1980s) that used Cassette Tapes. It worked very well but gave up the ghost many years ago. I haven't done a lot of calling in recent years and usually prefer a mouth call anyway. Would like to get an electronic caller, but not looking for some cheapie that doesn't have much volume. Anyone have any recommendations?

I'd also recommend Fox Pro first, but the Primos Turbo Dog is reasonably priced and has good volume too. I've had one for about 6 years or so and have had no issues with it.

Fox Pro is the go to electronic caller, have had a bunch of different ones, Stewarts, Wild Game Research etc and liked the Fox Pro by far.. if I remember it was a model 512 but cant swear to it, back then I gave like 500 bucks for it.

Foxpro is the best by far. Been using them for almost 20 years. Outstanding products with excellent customer service.

Another Fox Pro Vote :lewis:

Mine is an Older unit now, called a Fox Pro Wildfire 2, Not made anymore, Replaced with what they call the “inferno” I have had really good luck with my Wildfire 2
