Blessed
Took the big 12 out opening morning.
Saw a coyote on the far side of the field and called her in to 35yds.
Hour later, buck come running across the field as 2 does were out front feeding. 60yds.

Congrats on a great, successful day. I bet that coyote pelt is worthless now that it has 2 holes in it the size of door knobs.:2cool:

I was so curious on that gun, I went and searched and found the thread from when you built it. Wow! That is awesome.

Went right thru, she ran 30yds. Same with the buck- both shot in the same body location (heart/lung).
I’m going to have to force myself to shoot one in the shoulder, to see the results.
This big bullet, even at 950fps has really taught me some things..which is just part of the fun.

Wow! I would have thought it would have flipped her big time, Real big lead at slower speed. I guess coyotes are soft.:D I personally have never shot one. I have seen them when hunting but always afraid to shoot one since I was afraid to scare of a nearby deer. :( The one time I was going to shoot at one something spooked it before I could get a shot. That rifle just looks like it would be fun to shoot.:thumb:
