Afternoon; i will take this Thunderbolt at your price plus shipping if still available.

Not sure, they were on there when I bought it. I did remove them and didn't notice any names, trademarks etc. Torx screws, not allen.

If I saw it sooner I would have added for my 2nd tbolt.
Steve if you need load recommendation PM and i can share what mine likes.

What bases are those on there ?

Steve, they are Warne Maxima Series Steel Bases. Paired Base. Silver Finish.

Warne Part# M955/953S

They fit the contour and hole spacing for the S-91, M-98, and Thunderbolt rifles.

I still have a brand new set in the package. Pretty sure they are no longer available.

Mine are shorter ,it was the one over the breech area I was questioning

You can polish out the pitting in the breech area with a wire wheel on a Dremel tool. Then send the barreled action out for Black Ice. You almost would not be able to see the pitting. Leave the bolt stainless. With that stock it would look very nice. Just a thought.

Congrats Steve. I was sitting in my tree stand browsing the forum when he posted this and I knew right away you were gonna be all over this one.
Evening: Thank you and if I hadn't killed a 11 pointer Saturday morning I would not have been at home to see the Thunderbolt on Modern Muzzleloader. Tickled to death to have this Thunderbolt and I thank and appreciate Phil for the opportunity. This White sickness has consumed me. lol

Afternoon; Sorry for the late reply!!! No, I shot the 11 point with a rifle. Muzzleloader starts in December here in Indiana. Is it OK to post pics since I didn't shot it with a ML?
