Hi all,
I got my first inline about five years ago when California banned lead ammo for hunting. Thankfully, i shortly thereafter moved to a RI but never got much use out of it because, as it turns out being self taught I am terrible at deer hunting. I'm relocating OH for work and that state seems to be a lot more libertarian in what it allows for taking game, basically it seems "use your best judgement". I'm also downsizing because of the move and really want to find a way to legitimize keeping my first muzzleloader and get more into inlines. I really like the looks of T/C Pro-Hunter FX, and their Strike.
Anyway, thats a brief synopsis of me and modern muzzleoading. See you all around on the board.
Cheers,
dgfd

:welcome:To the group. From cal. To Ohio will be quite a change. Good luck in your endeavors.

Welcome aboard! Ask any questions you want so by the time next season rolls around you’ll be ready on confident.

You ought to be very happy you left Californacation most of the states are run by damn liberals who haven't a clue about life

Oh I certainly am, RI has been better but I'm really looking forward to be back in the midwest (my family is from Indiana).

:welcome: I'm a misplace Buckeye myself. Will be heading back for deer season next weekend!:D:D:D What part of the state ya headed to?

It is. Have family over that way. Lots of big Corn and Soybean farms over there. They get some Real big Deer off those farms. I have never hunted over there but I know some of the farms can be hard to get onto. Leasing Hunting rights is getting to be a big thing in Ohio now, guess that's they way it goes.

NW Ohio expat myself. Farms I hunted on until I finished high school & shipped out for Uncle Sam have all leased out; can't get near the spots I loved as a kid with my schoolmates & their dads. Tried public land while on leave a few times, checked onto a dozen or more different plots of public land and they all looked like pumpkin patches on opening weekends. Sincerely hope you fare better than my experiences!
