Calico is my 24 inch stainless/walnut TC Firehawk.
Shot some 300 grain ( non-magnum) .45 XTP's and 70 grains of 3f Swiss. 1500 fps. chrono'd.
Was checking my sights for bear season. Fired 10 shots at 100. Spot on. Center of hole to center of hole, 1 13/16. No 3 shot group was over an inch and the smallest was about 11/16ths.
Aperture sights. 1-38 twist.
LOVE this rifle!

The sight is a Savage #10. It was mounted on their Model 23 series bolt actions.
I'll post a pic tomorrow, but it can be found if you search for vintage Savage sights.
I've had this gem for 15 year and its drawn blood on 4 different rifles.
Paid $85 for it. Absolutely superb sight. Adjustments depend on sight radius, but on my Firehawk, elevation is 1/2 inch and windage a little more than 1/4 inch.

This is a Savage #10 sight.
They do come up for sale, rather infrequently, but they're more than worth the price if in good condition. There were several models for various applications. This one was for the Model 23 series bolt actions.
