....tinkering with a new mold. These baits are 4" in length and have a nice hook slot in the belly to help hide larger hooks. These have been air brushed to finish them in such a way that the machining marks left behind appear almost tiger striped.

Very nice,Tom. What's your target species of fish for these? River, or lake fishing? What kind of, and size of, jig heads would you pair these with? I have my own ideas if I had a few of them.
 
They look DARN GOOD Tom!! That Bait making would be a FUN Hobby, I know i would enjoy tinkering with it.

Walleye primarily. The Mississippi River, pools 4 and 5 below the dams. I'll make up some jigs with 5/0 hooks on 3/8 and 1/2 ounce heads, most likely a teardrop design.

And Lewis....it is a great hobby.

Mr Tom i gotta tell you those are Beautiful walleye jigs !!! I spent 35 yrs chartering for walleye on Lake Erie and those are just about the Nicest ones ive seen !!! Those fish are gonna say Yum Yum !!!
