I guess it would depend on what’s within the baby wipes... although it would take a lot for me to get away from my cheapo barrel swabbing patches..
I buy a 100 count of patches and use a small round tupperwear container, I pour roughly 2 table spoons of windex in the The container and put half the stack of patches in the container. Always worked well for me and evaporates from barrel By the time I get the powder in the barrel, I’m still on the same winded bottle I started with 3 years ago with this method and have a lot left

With bh209 the only thing I do between shots when at the range is clean the breech plug every 5 shots or so. My groups get tighter after the 2nd and 3rd shot with some rifles and with some others the kid does best with a clean barrel but even then I don’t swab with bh209. As far as lathes go I get them from my local gun store for 1.99/100 Amazon has various bull deals where you can get up to 1000 patches for under 10 bucks..I’d hate to see how much money some companies have made off some of the guys that buy “ready to use” Blackpowder cleaning patchesWill this method work for Blackhorn 209?
I cut up old t shirts to make patches or cleaning cloths. Old tighty whitey underwear works too.(washed of course)Where do you get cheap patches? The one I have are pretty pricey.
