Literally. Not the big one...…. but enough.

I happened to hit on our state's Keno game and 5 digits when the wife and I went out for supper.
I asked the wife if she wanted or needed anything and the answer was 'No'.
So then I mentioned that I knew what I could spend it on and she says, 'Go ahead'. OH BOY! :)

There will be a new BT35-LW17 5-H Atlas Bipod showing up in a couple days ;)

This bipod requires the use of a picatinny rail. When I ordered this McMillan stock, it was ordered with the ramrod cut out. If it didn't have that cutout, I'd install the rail myself. However, the channel presents enough of an issue and the use of correct tooling, so I'm going to send the stock to Jeff and have him install the rail. No hurry, so I'll certainly wait until all the holiday shopping package movement slows.

I want to eliminate taking a front rest to the range, plus get more used to shooting off a bipod. The cheap Caldwell, Harris knockoff I have just won't get it. The H5 is made for real heavy rifles, so it should work well.
If my health and knee would allow, I'd really like to learn to shoot prone. You, Jeff, Doug and a couple others have gotten me more interested in learning. Heck, I bought a really nice shooting mat that's never touched the dirt. LOL
Just need to ask also, will this bipod be ok to use at your match or any of the other shoots/aggs?

Im the same way...One less thing to carry to the range from the vehicle. I hate the rests they supply at ours now. They used to have small sand bags i loved. Now its a hard plastic block and nothing for the buttstock.
