I happen to like him. I find his show, uncharted, to be interesting. Having said that, I don't really care what he is shooting. I'll stay with what has proven to be effective for me. Can't say I hold any harsh feelings towards him if that is how he makes a living, wish I was so lucky.

Morning: Totally agree with your stance!!!!!

I like him too, and agree with you guys. Heck both Nosler and Hornady are great bullets, imo. Neither have ever done me wrong. I've killed a ton of deer with Hornady bullets.

I’ve always enjoyed Shockey. Can’t blame a guy for going with the highest bidder. And I know I’ve never bought a bullet based on who uses it. All depends on what shoots best and what I’m planning/trying to do with it.

Shockey will say good things about anything, as long as he is paid to do it. And what's up with the cowboy hat? He is about as much cowboy as I am a jet airliner pilot. He is a fraud.

The problem I have with all of the "hunting shows" is the fact that an animal has to die for the sake of the production. There is a lot of value in a well produced kill shot, and some of these shows will do whatever it takes to get it. Including hunting in high fence, state and federal parks, general poaching acquiring tags illegally, hunting suburban areas at night and I'm sure a lot of other ways I can't think of. I have firsthand knowledge of two video makers/writers who these methods put their wares on national channels and hunting publications.

After saying this I believe Jim Shockey along with several other producers hunt on the up and up, but make no mistake it's all about the money

Shockey is an outdoor prostitute. He will say good things about anything, as long as he is paid to do it. And what's up with the cowboy hat? He is about as much cowboy as I am a jet airliner pilot. He is a fraud.
Are you for real, or are you a troll? You call him a Prostitute and fraud????? Seriously?????? Do you even hunt? Have you ever seen his shows? If you did you would see they are quality productions compared to all the crap that is out there. His shows win awards every year. They are top notch. The man is from western Canada. Does that disqualify him from being allowed to wear a cowboy hat? Are you joking or what?
By the way, we are still waiting for you to show us that "All Copper" Powerbelt bullet.

When someone presents products that are junk, as quality, they loose me right there. As far as the power belts, I looked at a package of PB bullets with green PB, and 245 gr, that are advertised as all copper. Never shot them or cut them in half. If they are not copper, sorry.

You ever heard the term, "all hat"? That applies to drug store cowboys, that put on a hat and pretend to be someone they are not. Anyone can kill great animals with guides and land access. Doesn't mean they are great hunters.

The man has been a hunting outfitter for decades. Even before he had a TV show. He was very successful, with or without a ''hat '' on his head. He has guided his clients to great moose, whitetails, grizzly, black bear and other species of animals. Other than that, he now travels the world and hunts many species of animals on other continents. Some species people have never even heard of. His shows have always been both entertaining, funny and educational. That is why people watch them and he wins awards for them. No one here said the man is a great hunter. Why you need to insult the man is beyond me. You seem to be a very negative, know it all type person. I can see that in some of your other posts.
The man puts his money where his mouth is. He ain't a drug store anything and he is a lot more than just hat. Obviously you have a disdain for the man. If the man walked across water you would probably complain he can't swim.
As for sponsors..... Capitalism is what makes the world go 'round. It is a good thing, and a very much American thing. The Duck Dynasty guys started out shooting Benelli, now they shoot Mossberg. Tomorrow they will probably shoot something else. Nosler and Hornady are both top notch companies. I see no problem with their sponsorships or products.
Like the Powerbelts. Maybe you should read the package correctly before running your mouth. If you actually watched his shows, you might have to give up another apology.(By the way, the Powerbelt package reads ''copper plated'' not ''all copper'')

Which products that he’s using are junk?

Sounds like someone is jealous ! Having met the man and family before, I found the whole group to be very down home type people. I make a point of watching his shows.Nosler had a good run, guess will move on to Hornady, doesn't make me want to insult the man or his show.
