I arrived at my home today for lunch to take delivery from my mailman of a package containing my custom Omega built by Jeff Fisk. I had not done business with Jeff before but had heard nothing but glowing recommendations about his work and on those recommendations I decided to have him build this rifle. I decided to go with the custom Omega and I'm glad I did. I love the simple, clean lines of this rifle and the simplicity of it. Jeff really does produce exceptional work. I went with a 45 cal, 1:20 twist, 28" Brux barrel with a custom radial brake, custom picatinny rail and ASG 209 breechplug. It's mounted in a Boyd's Pro Varmint stock in Royal Jacaranda. He made a custom load through funnel for the brake, included a 3 piece break down ramrod, custom loading jags and reworked the trigger to break at 2 lb 3 oz. It will be a few days before I get an opportunity to mount some optics and shoot it but I have no doubt it will be a real shooter.

Wow is right!!!! Congrats!

That is SUPER nice! :yeah: I just got a Boyd’s Pro Varmint stock myself, mine is for my Weatherby Vanguard S2 in 6.5 Creedmoor, I absolutely love the stock!!

I had Jeff fit one of his custom breech plugs to my Master Hunter Disc Extreme.
Exceptional work, fast turnaround and he is a really nice guy too!
Great looking rifle! :applause:

I truly appreciate all kind words .
Im just plain normal guy and love the opportunity to build these muzzleloaders.
I certainly understand we work very hard for our money and strive to meet a client's expectations .

Without the lord i would be in trouble.
Thanks and god bless.

I agree. Jeff is a great guy. When I first contacted him about a custom build, he took the time to talk to me and find out how I hunted and what I was expecting in a custom rifle. He then explained all my options and gave his recommendations and that is how, and when, I decided to go the custom Omega route. Even though I have limited time with my rifle, so far, I have to say that I believe Jeff has perfected the art of building custom Omegas. If someone thinks they might ever want one, they better be obtaining an Omega trigger group/action now because they are probably going to get a lot harder to find in the future.
