Encore muzzleloader 54 cal

Well finally got to shoot the encore barrel that Bobby Hoyt rebore for me it shot great I think, only shot a few time with Goex 100 grains. With the deep rifling the fouling wasn't no where near what I thought it would be. Can't wait to scope the barrel and sight it in. I believe this is going to be a great rifle to hunt with as muzzle loaders are all I use.

Its good to hear you really like his work !!! Ive got 2 to have done . Did it take long ??

No like 3 weeks for mine but I guess that depends how busy he is. When I picked mine up I dropped off a 50 cal pedersoli to have bored out to a 58 slow twist for round ball. I'm a big fan of shooting round balls.

Sounds like he is local to you . I got 1 for a fast twist 54 . And another from 54 to be 58 1 in 58 . Both conical shooters .
