Good shoot'n.

I can attest to the bullet's ability to put the smack down on a whitetail, straight down smack down, with the UF and 105grsW. Remarkable bullets both on game and target.
I might suggest that if you plan on shooting long range, I'd change to the ST2 bullet. For me, once the regular ST gets past 300yds accuracy/groups falter in the .50cals.
In my experience the Federal Match LRMP's, with the Gen2 and in a UF, it will ignite BH at that temp without a duplex.
I have another (50) of the 275’s and (50) of the 320 Fury Star Tip on order and I’m expecting them in next week sometime. After I put them thru their paces and see if I can get good consistency in the UML and ML I will try to stretch them out to 300 yards. I have shot several deer in the 265 yard range however it’s not something that I do on a regular basis. I do want a DRT shot and that takes a quality bullet properly placed. I’m not overly confident in accomplishing at extended range (yet).
My experience with the Gen 2 plug and Fed MLRM primer is that in very cold weather ignition is inconsistent however with the duplex the problem is resolved. Other than perusing this forum there are not a lot of people around that I can consult on these challenges so quite often I have to come up with my own red neck solution. Thanks for the input.

You have a PM...….

Be nice guys. This interests all of us or we would not be here talking about it. I will kick in and no strings, I would bet the other guys feel the same way about it.

That heat was awhile back . All good now . Read on a bit further......doesnt make sense placed here now.....just sayin ....

Been wanting to shoot this bullet at 200 yard. Finally today. Start was late due to nurse duty. Kinda seemed too windy, but went ahead, and did some shooting.

Load was 105g Blackhorn, poly wad, W209 primer. Seemed like the bullet was sized a tad too small. Indicates the bullet did not 'spring back'.

Aim was the bottom target. First shot from clean cold barrel completely missed. First shot missed completely. Shots 2, 3, 4 hit to the right. Makes sense, wind was right.

Great for you to share this with us. Do you have an idea of the temperature that this test was performed at ? IMO any hunting load that’s worth carrying has to perform well in a wide range of conditions and these tests are the most intelligent way of determining the performance.

Its -3° and in after it gets more daylight, I'm shooting a load that's been in that cold for 21hrs so far. BH209, module w/LRMP and with the Fury :)
