I just bough one from a guy who only shot it a few times and cant really tell me much about it. 28" silver color barrel on a camo thumb-hole stock with a scope sight I shoot side lock guns and I'm familiar with the operation of the Omega. I have Triple Seven FFg and Win 209 standard primers. I'm wondering what you can tell me about the gun that doesnt come in the owner's manual?

Great rifle! No nonsense straight forward design. Easy to clean. Extremely accurate. Has kept my freezer full for more than 20yrs. What more can you ask for? target new.JPG

What Hatchet Jack said. I have the same exact gun I bought off of gunbroker. It was in excellent condition when I bought it. The only complaint I've ever heard of is the small size of the trigger guard. Very minor and a long ways from a deal breaker. Mine loves the 275 grain Fury inside the crush rib with 100 grains VOLUME of Black Horn.

If you use the W209 primers, most Omegas will be totally blowback free.
The ones I've owned, around 90-100gr powder with 250-300 gr bullets have shot very well. Personally I use BH209, and the factory BP is perfect for that sub. Congrats on your purchase!

Early models had a flat faced breech plug that does not work well with BH. If your going to shoot BH, make sure your have the later plug with the concave BP face.

I used 1 load in both of my T/C Omega's - 3-Pyrodex 50gr pellets & a PB 223gr aerotip hp. w/209 primer. In my firehawk & thunderhawks I used 2-50 pellets & a 295gr PB. I loved my Omega's & am seriously considering buying a 3rd to rebarrel to shoot Fury .357MZ smokeless or bh 209. Kind regards
