.45 Cal/1:30 Hawken “Silver ELITE” Paper Patch

I was confident this New Rifle would shoot my Paper Patch Stuff, But i needed to find out for sure? I ran out this morning to Test a TRIED and TRUED Favorite of mine, A .444 Diameter, 400 Grain Cupped Base Paper Patch Bullet i get From BACO, I use this Bullet in my other .45s

I shot at My Same Spot





The New Hawken “Silver ELITE” 1:30 Twist Shot them Well

That’s still too cold for my warm blooded body. Nice shootin’ Lewis. I would be shiverin’ so bad I don’t know that I’d hit the target. Supposed to be 68 here today.

It was COLD this Morning for sure, it’s a Challenge to make yourself comfortable When it’s Cold out like this. I swab Between Shots With Alcohol, I spray it on Patches, Which gets on my Hands/Fingers, It gets COLD I will be glad When it gets nicer/Warmer, When I can get up in the Hills for Longer Range Stuff

On my way out shoot, I found where some Kids had been Ripping the Rd up last night (I know the Car from Town here) It wasn’t Long til i found it This is on State Land, Right where i have Shooting, This is Quite a Walk from here to the Nearest ANYTHING, 4-5 Miles. Had they of Stil been there? I would have Smiled, Waved, and Kept going. Gotta learn Somehow

I think its got an eye on a permanant spot in that safe.......

They probably did have to walk haha. Looks like they slid off backwards?? They’re probably lucky all they got was stuck....

You can bet their Mom & Dad Bought the Car, KIDS

Unless they had a buddy behind them, i can guarantee ya they Walked NO CELL Coverage for Several Miles. They Definitely Spun it Around and Ditched it Backwards, i bet that was a Puckerbutt Moment

The ones I REALLY get a Kick out of is the Little Wheelbarrow Sized Spare in most Small Car Trunks! There was a guy here in town that Drove Around on one of them forever it seemed like, He probably wore it out?
