as for the double load, i have by being distracted double loaded my 52, i am thankful it was a knight, and i am far from an IDIOT,jack ass
Wow...consider yourself reported....but to the subject at hand....mag + charges of let's say 10 to 20 % won't affect the gun if it's in good working order and has been maintained.....I want my 45ML to be zeroed at 200 Y ds and know I am safe as the projectile will hit the ground around 400 yds.....it's the drop I am looking for if I miss....don't want a 100 yd zero knowing the bullet will hit Earth at 250 yds......hate using Kentucky windage...

Btw you breeched every safety rule where it comes to loading....didn't you realize it when the ram rod stopped short?.....I carry my reload in a separate pocket to prevent deadly mistakes....yeah all ML must be proofed to double max charge...you proved my point.....or you would be dead! Sorry u took it personally...not my intent but the rules are there for a reason.....why God invented speed loaders......1 tube....1 charge...1 projectile....and with any of my other brand ML...1 primer......if you want to attack me personally anymore please feel free to do so.....why I hunt alone......half of the dudes in the woods shouldn't be allowed out there with what I have witnessed.....and why I carry a sidearm at all times......owning hunting property it is a must....

Not attacking you, accidents happen, been muzzleloader hunting since 84, first and only time anything like that happened to me,my buddy was talking to me and it was that simple.i cant hear you but you are very loud my friend.i suspect other reasons that you hunt alone , must be hard being that perfect

My extreme is 1 in 20 .....one of the originals......also the average shooter won't remove the plug so it fills with fouling and altering each successive shot.....why I said I removed it often at the range....you can't clean the last 2+ inches of the barrel with it installed and since it burns front to back that's where the majority of the fouling accumulates...you also have to really shake the barrel when loading powder to get equal settling...just tapping the butt stock ain't enough.......I stand by my comments....I have used everything from flintlock to inlines....I have knights in 45,50,52...a Omega 50.....cap guns in 32 36,38 and my trust Hawken 54....used about every powder and pellet.....why I use loose....better accuracy due to the absence of air around the charge....slower burn.....higher velocity....used to crony loads why I stopped using 777 pellets....min 10% higher velocities with same weight loads....and more accurate...win win....tried using saboted 357 bullets in the 45....too dang fast...twist on rifle too fast......recoil doesn't phase me since I used to goose hunt with 3.5 in max dram loads and I shoot African calibers from the 9.3 to the 500 Jeffery and everything inbetween.....I always said if it hurts me to shoot it imagine what it's like on the other end! I want my game to drop on contact...I hate tracking hurt game.....why I gave up on bow hunting....last deer took 4 hrs to find....I want it to be lights out....better for me and more humane for the game.....but there are limits...why I don't hunt with my 338's or 450 Marlin on deer anymore....stick with my ML or a lever in 30-30 or 35 Rem......btw that 45 extreme is crazy fast and hits like lightning....why I refer to it as THOR....police stop me all the time to check me out with that beast of a scope during ML season......looks like a centerfire....think their jealous......last year took a 10 pointer frontal shot at 160 yards.....he dropped like a stone....that was the 150 gr of 777 f fg and that sweet 195gr hydraulic soft point.....bullet pancakes to .85in upon impact.....double diameter expansion...2 kinds of lead with a drop of hydraulic fluid in the center mixed with the lead....best soft point I ever used....bought 10 packages each for the 45 and 50 cal when they closed em out cause everyone was going to a ballistic tip......sorry for the rant but I love to share my experiences since the wife dont get it and I always hunt alone from squirrels with my 32 cal cap gun to my 54 flint lock....oh yeah I have a TC Renegade 50 converted to a 209 ignition and a 56 cal smooth bore...and a 10ga side by side cap gun.....too many guns....too few days in the year....
seems you done it all go ahead and enlighten us

Only the DISC Original 45s before a certain serial # and some of the newer Mountaineers are 1-20s. No DISC Extremes were 1-20.

Depends on the serial number. Early Disc stainless .45's with serial numbers under 5043 were 1-20 twist, or so I've been told. There are a lot of Knight guys on this site that can help you with load data.
I have 196 does that count?
