After trying to find this website I couldn’t find it. You may want to do more research into this company.

    # 11 caps

I’m assuming these would be made from plastic. If they still use aluminum from drink cans I don’t see how they would last very long. I have they one made by 22reloader, been using for a couple years, still works just fine.

    New guy from NC

Welcome from southeastern nc, this a great forum. hello, my name is Jim, I’m an RSO at the Hollyshelter shooting range. Several weeks ago I had a customer come in and was shooting a flintlock. Was that you? We talked about maybe getting the club out shooting, I talked to my boss and there is a...

    Canada is burning up?

I’m in south eastern nc, I can see a haze in the air. No smell but there is haze. Fire is sometimes good, clears out a lot of underbrush helps out nutrients back into the soil. Just maybe not on this scale and in an uncontrolled way. Hope all up north stay safe.

    Black Powder VS Pyrodex

I have also been using pyrodex in my cap locks, I’ve never had an issue with the gun not going off.,

    How do you

Not sure if they were intended to get around the rules. I shoot both myself, but I don’t know anyone that hasn’t said they only hunt with their inline to get those two extra weeks. Now does that mean everyone feels that way? No I’m sure there are hunters out there that only shoot inlines, there...

    Bore butter ???

I got that part and I see how that would work, my thought was mixing up my own batch. Thanks for the info and yes I think I may go that route and use the cheaper stuff to wipe down my guns after they are cleaned, unless isopropyl alcohol will mix with mineral oil. Again thanks for the info.

    Bore butter ???

Mineral oil doesn’t mix with water, or does it? I always assumed there were other things added to make it water mixable.

    Bore butter ???

I also use ballistal to clean, if you dry your guns then wipe it down with straight ballistal it doesn’t dry and no rust, I live in southeastern NC, so I got some humidity in summer.

    pedersoli rifles

I have that gun also, and it was the kit, what a great gun. Did you have an issue with the left lock not working. Mine trigger didn’t reach the sear till I put some rubber tubing on sear.

The shootout between Quigley and the ranch owner, well it’s mine, “I said I prefer not too, not that I couldn’t” or close to that.

    Knight Wolverine question

No it is not that bad, yes you need to clean rifle soon after shooting but you also need to clean after using black powder. Pyrodex gets a lot of hate, it’s mostly unfounded.

    chewed balls

From everything I’ve seen, YouTube not in person, there’s not enough gained to make it worth the time. But hey your experience may differ, it can’t hurt to try them.

What do you think of the Firestick/Nitrofire system?

The way I see it, if it’s legal and that gets you in the woods go for it. I do shoot an inline and a traditional cap lock. I prefer my sidelock, but that’s me. You shoot the fire stick, cool we can still be friends.

    Muzzleloader Explodes on Firing Range

Not seating the bullet, with the right amount of powder, has been proved not to blow the barrel. The article was in muzzle blast this summer, I’ll try to find the exact month. But putting two charges may be a different story.

    Why In-Line Muzzleloaders?

In my neck of the woods, most people started using in lines simply to take advantage of the two weeks of extra hunting. Inlines are more accurate further out then most sidelocks for more people.
