Barnes bullets came today with the blue sabot. I mic the bullet in the sabot .502 should load nice

Well I am not new to Barnes bullet I use them in my 243 cal. deer shot with them needs no blood trail,they drop on the spot. I just ordered some TEZ 250 gr. They should be here next week . I will report back on how they shoot

I been playing with the Hornady 44 cal xtp .430 diameter in the impact. My question how hard should they be pushed. I got 80 and 90 gr. BH 209 testing both loads shoot about the same POI . The 90 gr. Is 2" higher at the 100 yd. I think somewhere around 1825 FPS

I was given some 45 cal. 240 gr. Hornady bullets with green sabot came in the same box. .430 diameter. I mic it at .507 theses will never get down the impact rifle bore. I wonder about crush ribs from harvester . thanks

100 yards max. I wonder anyone have a idea on outside bullet sabot diameter is. My Thompson center impact has a really tight bore. I have a little more effort to seat a .503 on a second shot follow up shot.
