I bought a ULA muzzleloader off this site back in the summer. I broke her in on October 19, 2023.

There is always some black stuff inside the bowl of the breech plug I can never get clean. What’s your secret to cleaning your breech plug/plugs?

After 18 years of shooting Barnes bullets in my rifles and muzzleloader I finally was able to recover one. It looks great and the edges are really sharp as well. I’m guessing this is 100% weight retention minus the polymer tip?

Looking for Barnes XPB 44 mag (.429) Bullets. 200 gr. and 225 gr.

Got a bunch of sabots for sale. These come off of the 50 cal. 250 gr. Barnes T-EZ bullets. According to how many bullets I’ve bought there should be 197 of them. To be on the safe side I’ll say 180 though (I’m not counting them LOL). $15 shipped for all of them.

So it looks like I’ve been cheating myself from being max charge. LOL This is 84 gr. weighted. Looks like I could add 10 more grains by volume. I guess this is safe to add 10 more grains by volume then weigh it and then start loading this size charge if I wanted to? It shoots really well...

I killed the mainframe 8 on the afternoon of 10/12. Shot him at 140 yards. The mainframe 10 I killed on the morning of 10/17 at 35 yards. Both bucks were shot with a T/C Omega shooting 84 gr. (weighted) of Blackhorn 209 and a Barnes T-EZ 250 gr. bullet with a crush harvester sabot.
