    Devalued?!

I think the seller was less than upfront for sure, however I've participated in TWRF raffles and would have been happy to have won something from them, engraved or not. Knowing that its that and not some yahoo's personal info... it wouldn't bother me in the least. Actually its pretty cool. I...

MK 85 Early & later plungers

I learned something new as well! None of my MK's have ever had that. And fwiw, for the OP... unless you plan to shoot 209's, the original plunger is much better. It has a flat face. The coned face will flare out your nipple over time. It was supposedly designed to use for both, but its really...

    Knight Wolverine conversion to #11

Yes, that is nice about the vast majority of knight plunger rifles - the interchangeability of many of the parts. For the #11 caps, like flounder said... its best to have a flat face hammer. The coned 209 hammer will work, but it will definitely flare the nipple out. Some folks have taken a...

CVA Paramount Pro V2…Does Ferrari make these?

Nice! I'd take one of those in a second. In fact, I'd probably take a first gen MK-85 over a CVA. Congrats on your rifle, that's what its all about!

CVA Paramount Pro V2…Does Ferrari make these?

WAY Overpriced. Inferior quality. Designed to shoot proprietary bullets. Play the blame game. What a joke. 🤦‍♂️ NOT A BETTER GUN. Maybe they should look into changing their slogan...

When do your Bucks Shed their Antlers?

We see alot of bucks that start to shed in late Dec. Got 2 on cam last week that still had both. I think its dependent on the specific deer honestly. I don't see many deer with antlers in Feb, but some still do. Found one dead many years ago the first week of april that still had both antlers...

Boycott/ Limit purchase of BH 209?

I've shot BH209 for at least 7-8yrs, and not once have I ever been lucky enough to get it for under $40 a jug (10oz) where I live - most often closer to $50. I agree, it sucks. But its a great powder and I'll continue to shoot it. Luckily, I have about 4-5 jugs right now, and since I don't shoot...

    Knight LK-93/Wolverine primer blow back

All the knight plunger models are dirty, regardless of ignition type. There's no way around it, but its no big deal. I cut and fashion black electrical tape on my scopes between the rings. Can't hardly tell its there, it cleans up easy, and you can replace the tape easily as needed.

    Let's clarify, inline pioneers

I agree. I've hunted with Knight inlines since 1993, not once EVER did I forget to turn the secondary safety, nor did it ever engage on its own. The only time I really use that is pulling/lowering my rifle from a stand. Heck of alot easier than removing the cap! I personally love that concept...

Shoots after 6 weeks and 3 days

Loaded on a clean dry bore, the load will stay good a long time. I've done it for years.

    Found gold-found gold

The nuggets are definitely out there. Most people are not really into ML'ing, and have no idea what certain rifles are worth. Even some dealers. Definitely some pawn shops. Merry Christmas to you! 😁

    t/c omega laminate thumb hole

Correct. And they will stand by it, even if you didn't buy it new. Might end up with a new scope out of the deal.

We all have been wrong about the QLA

I actually like the "idea" of the QLA. It makes it easy to start bullets for sure, especially with a tighter load. I shoot sabots in my TC's that have the QLA so its a non issue for me. I agree, it has been proven that many have issues.

    t/c omega laminate thumb hole

I am not sure on the rifle, but my guess is the scope was probably an old vari-x II. A bear is right! Ask me how I know 😁 And they weren't all like that, but I had one and my cousin as well. His was so tight he sent it back. Still great scopes, just don't be in a hurry to change power

    BH209 to swab or not?

Encore, show em your 400yd target 😁 bronko, yes... his are fantastic groups. Interestingly, there are quite a few folks here that have shot ragged one hole groups or sub 1" groups at 100yds with many rifles. Myself included. Most of my Knights shoot lights out. The first one hole group I ever...

    BH209 to swab or not?

I don't swab between shots, and agree...running a dry patch through initially to knock out the heavy fouling makes cleaning a breeze. I do get MOA with most of my loads across about a half dozen rifles. (knights/omega's) I would suggest trying different different amounts of volume to see what...

Black Knight with Percussion Cap Breech Plug...............

It takes a "musket" cap. IMO, no real advantage at all over the #11 setup...and definitely not for the cost
