    Bear Skull?

Got it done... took it out of the freezer & put it in a pot full of water to thaw for a day. Then boiled it to get most of the meat off. Then boiled in dish soap & oxy clean, power washed then back in the boil pot with the developer for whitening. Pretty much just like other’s I’ve done. No...

    Extra PRB Loads/ Hunting

How does everyone carry extra PRB loads in the field when hunting? I thought about using a speed loader plastic thingy but I can't get the patch and ball pushed into the thing right. The patch keeps slipping to the side of the ball. I'm thinking about using a loading block instead. I'd like...

    Rocky Mountain High... Colorado

Ron, is that you? Looks like the famed “knife edge” on Capitol Peak? I haven’t climbed that one yet. Not sure I ever will? I thought at one time I might try to climb them all but I think that time has passed. I’ll try to climb all of them in the Sawatch range (only a few left) & maybe all...

    Rocky Mountain High... Colorado

Climbed Mt. Antero, one of Colorado’s 50+ 14er’s (14,000’ peak). Think this was my 15th. The mountain goats near the top were an added bonus!

    Maine Trip

Looks like a great family trip! I’d like to make it out to the northeast sometime in my life. Maine seems like a neat place. Your lure looks like the mass produced “crocodile” we use around here for trout.

    RE: greetings from MA !

Not sure there’s any escaping the political issues & other garbage? Wyoming would be on my short list if I were looking to move though.

    Cutthroat fly fishing trip

I’m not familiar with the area. I’m actually going to Idaho for the first time ever today. I’m in Spokane WA visiting my daughter (husband stationed at Fairchild). Gonna go check out Coeur d’alane in Idaho today.

    Bear Skull?

I’ll let everyone know how it turns out with a couple pics... then everyone will know wether its a good idea or not to keep a skull in the freezer for two years 😉

    Bear Skull?

Yeah, I’ll have to remember to try it on a smaller skull sometime to see what happens.

    Bear Skull?

I’ve heard of doing it this way. I usually just boil & use developer from the beauty supply store. I’m not sure this method would work where I live? I’m at 8500’ and our soil is crushed granite for the most part. Not a lot of bugs in the ground like other places. I don’t really know for sure...

    Bear Skull?

Thanks... I’ve actually watched several of whitebone creations videos before doing other Europeans in the past. I usually watch a clip or two before doing one to refresh my memory on how to do it. When you only do one once in awhile, every times like the first time!
