    Lyman 57 SMET Accuracy question

Attached is the best 200 yd. 3 shot group with open sights I've ever had. Only problem is my groups at 100 are not even close to this. Maybe 3 inches apart which is OK but not what I'd hoped for. I'm thinking I just got lucky at 200, 3 times. (shooting 90 gr. Pyrodex P and 460 gr. bullshop...

    Bullet tumbling???

So I shot my White Ultra Mag today, shooting some Bullshops 460 gr. with 95 gr. Pyrodex P. Shot at 50 and 100 and things looked OK. So I tried some of the White Power Punch 460 gr. conicals and they shot OK as well, but not as good a group as the Bullshops. So I decided to shoot my Super 91...

    Thumbhole stock?

Has anybody ever seen anyone that has attempted 3D printing of stocks? I have one thumbhole stock, which I believe was made by Boyd and really like it but I've done searches and don't believe you can get them anywhere. I've always wondered if the material used in 3D printers would be strong...

Was thinking about trying BH209 powder in my Ultra Mag but thought I'd see if anyone has had any issues or tips to pass along?

    White on Armslist

Just saw a White for sale on Armslist for $100. It's in Charleston SC. I'd consider getting it but the ads kind of strange as the Title calls it "50 California Black Powder" (assume a typo for Caliber). Doesn't state which model it is but looks like a Whitetail from the 1 rough photo posted.

    Whites on Gunbroker

Anyone looking for a Doc made White, he's got a couple listed......451 Whitetail and a .504 M97. I've noticed he's been pulling parts together and assembling them periodically. Not sure what his reserve price is but the often don't sell in the mid $300 range. Would be nice to have a Doc...

White Ultra Mag Sight in problems

I was planning to use my White Ultra Mag this year for Colorado's rifle season so I mounted a scope on it. First time I've shot this gun after refinishing a thumbhole stock that took me years searching for! I mounted a Nikon Monarch 4x12 scope on it and all looked good. I was using White...

    #11 cap shortage????

I went to get some #11 caps this morning and was told they haven't been able to order them in over a year! This is in the Denver area but this particular gun shop doesn't carry a big supply of muzzleloader stuff. Has anyone else had trouble getting these? Anyone know of a source where they...

    White Super 91 II value

So I found a Super 91-2 that has been Black Ice coated and has been bedded in a great laminate stock. (upgrades not done by Doc White.) I believe it to be in excellent condition. Just thought I'd see what you guys think it might be worth? Unfortunately he's including has a scope ($100 retail)...

Looking for a Thumbhole stock for a White

I've been looking for how I might get a thumbhole stock for a White muzzleloader. I've seen one on the internet that noted it was a Boyd's stock, but in checking with them, they said they don't make one for a White. They actually never returned my emails but another guy did call them and was...

    Front ramp sight questions

My overall goal is to have a front sight that I'll use the tip of the ramp as my aiming point as I'm planning to shoot longer ranges out to perhaps 300 yds but not sure my eyes will allow that but that's my goal. I'm needing to get my Knight Ultra Lite drilled and tapped for a front sight...

Knight Mountaineer and Ultra lite loads?

I've recently acquired a Mountaineer and Ultra lite and wanted to "speed up" the process of finding a good combo of conical bullets and powder. I've seen most people posting using sabots but I'm only interested in feedback with conicals. I've had good results with my Revolution using a 370 grain...
