    Accuracy or Velocity? Wisdom Requested.

I’d always go with the best group. 1.25”@100 is not 2.5”@200 on paper. With same/similar weight bullets, trajectory is the same. I’d also look RonL bullet test (saved at the top of this in/line section) - especially the reduced load test to simulate longer range. Both your bullets fail to...

Hardness testers, fishing weights and sabots.

Brass bullets shot in sabots are harder than any lead.. Cast, load and go have some fun.

Aluminum ML Bullets, Frustrated and Irritated.

Traditions makes/made an AL bullet in a copper jacket. 170gr, I believe. Some of those fancy TV hunters use them. 25% the weight of lead.

    Knight mountaineer

You’ve inadvertently rotated this part of the bolt… The manual will tell you how to correct - pretty simple.

Real black and paper patch cast bullet

Putting my LR percussion rifle loads into an in-line was quite easy.. Started playing with BH209 after and found it gave no better accuracy- only easier to use.

No Excuses 40 caliber 225g Sabot Bullet

Another example of soft lead - stays together. Hard lead does not, the harder the more fragmentation. Good test.

Toughness of Knight Dyna coating in inside of barrel

You will have no problems with copper/bronze brushes. They have been used for probably nearly a century..

    I have my doubts !!

Biggest factor in BC is diameter, then weight, then nose shape. Long - skinny - bullets…

    any Point Black Range shooters

Velocity and BC all all you need.. There are many ballistic programs you can play with- but none of them are as absolute as your load and range time to prove what your gun can do on paper. I have a Knight 40cal 1:16, I’ve hunted with the past 3 years. Good luck.

    Question for you Tennessee men

West side of Knoxville here…on Ft. Loudoun lake. My hunting is private land on the Cumberland Plateau, south of Sgt. York area. The Sequatchie Valley is a hidden gem. Lots of quota hunts on state management areas. East TN isn’t much different than all along the Appalachians up to PA - lots of...

    Over powder wads .50

In my 50, years ago, (recently in my 54) I’ve had the best success using 1/16” LDPE wads. I made the cutters to punch groove diameter wads… I’d recommend to try felt as well.. Good luck testing.
