I agree with Bruce with the use of the Spin Jag rod and Jag itself. Fact is I carry this take down rod in a fanny pack while hunting. I do not think I have ever used the ram rod on the gun to reload. As noted in previous thread rod always in the gun.

I am a believer in the use of Felt wads in both in-line and flintlocks. In line shooting with a wad behind the sabot may seem like over kill but I think the wad protects the base of the sabot and being lubed (wonder wad) allows multiple shots between running a few patches thru the bore...

I have never seen any difference in accuracy with the rod in or out. That would be with 5 different guns inline to flintlocks. With some guns this could be a case but as noted I have never seen a change Good thread

I shoot a Brocock .22 cal PCP. It amazes me how powerful airguns have become. The fact that one can shoot a hog with one is just awesome. I have been invited to a couple of local farms to shoot vermin for the farmer and it has been nothing short of fun in the slower winter months in NE. Dave
