Black Powder Shooter new here from Kentucky

Thanks for all the great videos you post. They are great to me because they are no baloney videos that focus on the fun aspect of shooting. Keep up the good work!

How many here DON’T watch the Super Bowl?

I went to all my son's games and loved them except when the refs obviously threw the game in favor of a "professional" (recruited kids from outside their normally assigned school zone) team St. Ignacious from the bay area. Never watched a game after that season.

How many here DON’T watch the Super Bowl?

For me, Superbowl Sunday is good day to hit the range. Less people there. Plus, Sunday is day for many to go to church in buildings. Outdoors is my church!

    Cheddite 209 primers

As someone mentioned, they are a little on the "fat" side to be used in the oversized Cheddite shotgun hull pockets. Other than that, if they will light off the unmentionable powder like they do, they will surely light off any substitute you use.

    Hardcast Conicals

I water drop mine and now powder coat them. After 20 years, they are still hard enough so you can't dent them with your thumbnail. They don't expand.

    .25 20 Winchester

You may try calling Starline Brass. A friend of mine has called them in the past about brass and even though it was listed as “out of stock”, he was able to order some from them. If enough people want to buy that certain brass, they apparently will set up for and produce the brass. You can...

    1st Possibles pouch kit

I have noticed quite a few 92 Winchesters before they were being made and one western even showed a round bolt Marlin for a split second. These might have just been prototypes I guess¿

    50 cal loads

I get about the same velocity in my .50 using 70 gr. 3f black as I do using 80 gr. 2f black. I get right close to 1750 fps out of a 32" barrel with a .490" ball and .015" patch.

    Jukar .45

I d I don't know if this will be of any use but I made one once for a shotgun out of one of those clamps you use to hold a sheaf of papers together. I just took a couple of slices out of one with a Dremel tool and squeezed them together to make it about as strong as a real spring.

New Ban in Canada for firearms anything over 20mm.

Well what about places like Chicago? Their gun control is really working out for them-them being criminals of course. Just got shut out of Pensacola NAS because of what some criminal did there 2 yrs and one day ago. I had my VA card and the guy showed me some B.S. typewritten unofficial...
