I’m looking into LAL. Light Adjustable Lens cataract surgery. Anyone have this procedure done? Waiting til after turkey season. Reason being with a cataract in my shooting/ right eye I get to shoot two birds with one shot LOL. :elmer: As fellow MML members know cataracts are a shooters...

Prefer to PM with answers / questions. Yes I’m aware of the 10ml . Bolt nose and breech plug converted to 209. ASG. Still have the original bolt face that used the carrier. And BTW, a WV resident too.

Thompkins and Allen 50 cal barrel

Agree with #5 post. Underhammer barrel. The rear "plug looking thing" is the barrel tang.

FOR SALE TK2000 NWTF Model LNIB

Acquired in unfired condition. Pictures show where a fired condition would exist. Especially the choke tube. The breech area is another area. I put in the subject line “ LNIB” because I fired ( proofed) it. So I can’t say NIB. And btw there is no OEM box. It performed as well as my own TK...

Favorite cowboy single action for .45 Long Colt?

When I first started CAS Vaqueros ruled. And I used them like most. Then I thought why keep Queens safe? So I used these 45’s. The stag & ivory SAA’s were my go to pieces in 45LC. Pieces depicted range from 1900 to 1995.

Out of adjustment and still shooting high

OT, I use Eastern Maine - Wonder lubed wad for OP. Retrieved wads show no deformation. They might start a bit cockeyed but straighten out upon seating. One can hear the compression sound. No need to take choke off.

    Help me understand…

Sure sounds what you probably know. Powder not igniting. Primer pushing bullet out . Bullet seal? Polywad OP Or a couple of veggie wads. ( just to see ) A booster powder needed maybe? As in a duplex load.Like 5744 / H335. Look up RB’s loads.

    Help me understand…

"Gun powder doesn't care what's sitting on top of it." Ever shoot blackhorn209?

    Help me understand…

Now that is a Conundrum. Or an "En-Corenundrum" . Scratching head here. Using same load after no discharge, did you try again with another primer? If so to no avail? Did the bullet jump / move any after no discharge? Try another variable maybe. Like another type of powder.

My response from another forum on MML. White’s Tommie vs TK

Does come down to Ford vs Chevy IMO. So much is written about the TK’s heavy recoil. What I don’t see is a written comparison of the same heavy charge that the TK can use in other ML SG’s. In this case of the original OP. The Knight’s suggested load / loads. Bruisers IMO. But as veteran...
