What is the difference between the Alaskan and the model 98. I know its a .54, but is it the barrel is thicker or the receiver stronger etc. I have a super 91 in .50 with a bull barrel (1.125 ) all the way to the crown. Could it handle more powder ? Looking for answers

I may part with a 50 that I have. It has never been shot and I just cant bring myself to shoot it. ( I have a few whites I have never shot yet ) I think maybe I should let someone else give it a try.

Has anyone ever put over 100 grains through their white model 97 or ultramag. Doc says they can go up to 150.

Being from Utah I am a white fan. Got my first one right out of Roosevelt from the White facility. I have had too many too list, and still have some that I have purchased new and never shot. It would be nice to know if there are any white fans in North Ogden area.
