    Primer blowback ?

Spent primers should come out clean. That way, you know all the energy from the primer is going in the direction of the powder charge to assure complete ignition and get consistent accuracy. . I use an O ring. When I close the action, I get a slight crush on the primer for a good seal. Makes...

Help with load for T/C omega?

A T/C Omega is tailor made for BH 209. The BP is perfect for Blackhorn. I tried many combo's and found that mine loves 100gr volume and a regular 300gr XTP using a short black Harvester sabot. This load's been keeping the freezer full for many years! No need to clean between shots. Hoppe's #9...

Entry level in-line muzzleloader for deer hunting

You don't need an expensive ML to kill a deer. Any you've mentioned should get the job done if you spend the time to work up an accurate load. That said, my cousin hunts with a TC Impact and I'm impressed.

    Projectiles - Sabots vs Powerbelts

#1 your buddy doesn't know what he's talking about. #2 most here don't like PB's much. #3 go to the range, shoot both. Your gun will tell you what you need to know.

    Omega Question

The sticky explains how to tighten a loose Omega action. GoCo's post sounds like his rifle's action is out of alignment.

    Wrapping Breech Plug for Seal

interesting. Just to ensure ignition, wouldn't it be better to trim the excess tape from the concave area leaving the tape on the flat for a seal? I would think an Xacto blade run around the inside edge would trim the excess out of the way of the primer flame. Or am I over thinking?
