    Suburban Texas Hog

    We have a big hog problem here in Montgomery Co. Texas. This big girl was taken only a 1/2 mile away from some fabulous homes in Bender’s Landing Estates. Can you say pulled pork, sausage, and back strap? CVA Accura MR, 100gr Blackhorn. 250gr sabot Hornady FTX, 70yds. Slow Glow Hunting Light.

    I went back to the bench and conducted the volume/weight procedure TWO more times. The first test was performed using the CVA Trophy Measure and the second test was performed with a T/C See Thru Measure. I weighed 10 charges for volumes of 80 grains through 120 grains in 10 grain volume...

    As an engineer, I have a hard time measuring a solid by volume. Variations in grains with loose fill versus packed fill could result in a big swing in charge weight. I weigh my charges because that's what I do with cartridge reloading. I do have a dilemma... Using a CVA Trophy Powder Measure...

    i have to agree on the cost differential being in favor of 777. On Powder Valley's website, 2F or 3F triple 7 cost only $19.95/#. BH209 is $31.95 for 10 ozs... that'a a big spread and equates to lot of shooting. So why the cleanup differential? Is 777 water cleanup? I understand BH209...
