    T/c hawken rifle's

I personally prefer a fowling shot prior to shooting for score at the range or woodswalk competition. I either shoot a ball into the berm or patch my ramrod with the muzzleloader not loaded and snap a cap thus creating a thin layer of residue. Also burns out any oil left over in the fire...

The lock could then be adjusted by turning the screw out or inboard thus centering the hammer cup over the nipple...

LH: I'm 63 and time has mellowed me also. With Maine's deer population so low , I'm happy to get a glimpse. The important thing is to keep going out and enjoying what we still have! Nice story! Nit Wit

Want To Hunt In Maine? Bear Deer Moose

Andover camp is in 7, 12 is nearby Greenville camp is in 9, 8+ 14 close. Moose hunting is not a piece of cake anymore! I contend zone 1+ 2 are the best. The herd is down due to winter ticks killing the moose. 65% success rate2014, yet they only dropped permits by 15%. I predict we won't be...

It's 9 above and the wind is blowing 30+ mph. Yes we do have a lot of snow on the ground. It's great insulation...
