    You might want to look into the Crush Rib sabots and .452 pistol bullets. I use a 255 grain cast and sized to .452 for some of my sabot loads. Very mild recoil, depending on how hard you push it... That is the beauty of the .50 LRH barrels, you have a large choice of projectiles. Just depends...

    Yes, Howie shoots big pigs. He lives not too far from me. He hunts the Angelina river bottom, lots of hogs and deer! I hunt the area around the Trinity river, just a few counties away from Howie. I converse with Howie at every opportunity. And Britsmoothy has some of the best hunting posts...

    Ok, so I went out and shot a few groups. Center group is a .50 cal Lyman Plains bullet 395 grain straight from the mold, 75 grains of Swiss 2f under a .54 lubed felt wad at 100 yards, no swabbing between shots. Swabbed the barrel between the different bullets. Left group is a .515 Lee bullet...
