Yup . First time I pulled the trigger on my brand new Omega the trigger snapped of and landed in my lap , true story . They made it right but kind of puts a sour taste in your mouth .

MMuzzy , You ever gave the Power Belts a try in the 45 ? I know nothing about them myself but I do like the simplicity of them in my Omega . But I have always kept it at a hundred yards or less except on a coyote the one time . MM

I have always used NAPA very fine valve grinding compound on Rifle barrels . Easy does it , but It will clean up a very neglected barrel nicely .

Couldn't agree more with you on this . Know your equipment ,period . If you feel good at 40 yards ,good on you . If you feel good at the other mountain , good on you . Everybody is different .
