I added a red dot sight to one of mine by using a rail meant for a T/C Contender that I had milled flat.

I picked one up a few weeks ago and used it for the first time. I like it a lot.

If the red dot is mounted on the barrel the POI shouldn't change when you remove the barrel from the stock. The relationship between the sight and the bore is unchanged.

I recently mounted a red dot sight to my T/C Hawken with the LRH barrel. I just can't see iron sights well anymore.

Very nice! Any issues with sight regulation between the barrels since the rear sight is tang mounted? I have wondered about that whether when using different barrels or just removing the barrel for cleaning. It seems like a shift in POI could occur.

Those are some seriously hard bullets, somewhere around a BHN of 22. I use those in my 1911 and they seem fine but I'm not so sure they're ML compatible.
