Tc hawken cap lock 50 cal scope mount

I added a red dot sight to one of mine by using a rail meant for a T/C Contender that I had milled flat.

I picked one up a few weeks ago and used it for the first time. I like it a lot.

Cleaning Side Lock Muzzle with an Optic on It

If the red dot is mounted on the barrel the POI shouldn't change when you remove the barrel from the stock. The relationship between the sight and the bore is unchanged.

Scoped my TC white mountain carbine .54

I recently mounted a red dot sight to my T/C Hawken with the LRH barrel. I just can't see iron sights well anymore.

Green Mountain Stainless .45/.50 “Switch Rig”

Very nice! Any issues with sight regulation between the barrels since the rear sight is tang mounted? I have wondered about that whether when using different barrels or just removing the barrel for cleaning. It seems like a shift in POI could occur.

    No Excuse bullets

Those are some seriously hard bullets, somewhere around a BHN of 22. I use those in my 1911 and they seem fine but I'm not so sure they're ML compatible.

    Renegade Stock Pitch

I'm thinking about removing the curved buttplate on my TC Hawken and adding a recoil pad in an effort to increase the length of pull. To that end, can someone who has a Renegade measure the pitch angle from the comb and post the results. i figure that is as good a starting point as anything and...

    1-28'' twist Renegade Barrel???

Thanks for the reply. Yes, since buying my Hawkin I have been reading all of the old threads trying to learn as much as I can. I am using Goex 2f and RB's for now but want to try the fast barrel in preparation for deer season. Although the choices are not as varied as they are for CF rifles...

    1-28'' twist Renegade Barrel???

So, I have a GM 50 cal 1:28 twist barrel for my percussion T/C Hawken. What should I be thinking as far as bullets and loads for this. I purchased this with deer hunting in mind. My experience with muzzleloaders consists of a single trip to the range and 10 shots but I have extensive experience...

TC Hawken 1-48 twist and 240grn PA conicals

I just purchased my first muzzleloader, a used T/C Hawkin that I found at a LGS on the discount rack. For the price I couldn't pass it by. I am enjoying the various threads on "Beginner" type topics, there is so much to learn about these things. As soon as I can locate some powder and caps...
