    Venison Spiedie Recipe

Each to their own, but personally I"d recommend passing on the Lupo's and make your own from the recipe provided above. Results are a lot better. Ditto on following Shorty's suggestion to marinate at least 5 days. Make a big batch and freeze when you don't use the first day.

    Conical/sabot ramrod loading tip matching

Yep. Tip is pretty soft. And like I said, they do shoot well in spite of the almost flat ramrod tip. What I think might be excessive pressure on my part, I suppose that the 444 Marlin recoil could very well be more. Probably considerably more. I'm probably over thinking a non issue again....

    Conical/sabot ramrod loading tip matching

I'm shooting the Hornady 444 Marlin 265 grain FTX bullet with a green crush sabot in my 50 cal Kodiak Magnum. Good accuracy with it, but I'm concerned about the ramrod tip mashing the plastic tip. I see that the cleaning tip appears to be threaded onto the rod. Has anyone replaced that tip...

    Speed loaders

Ditto on Lane's Tubes. For some reason a couple grains of the 209 always want to stay in the tube so I wipe mine a bit first with an anti-static cling dryer towelette.

How long do you leave your muzzleloader charged during season?

I never leave my CVA Kodiak Magnum charged. And I clean/lube it the same day. Bullets are cheap compared to a corroded barrel.
