    tc hawken or renegade 50 or 54 70gr goex 3f, over powder wad, prb. deer never run off. 54 is my favorite it has put more meat on the table than any other cal.

    yes it been cared for just seem like alot. but since it my buddy i guess i'll pull the trigger. it will make a nice wall hanger just under my brown bess

    a buddy has an early ( no warning ) white mountain carbine he bought new many years ago. he wants $200. I usually dont give that much for a muzzleloader but i don't have one. i think it has a fast twist he shoots sabots. anyone know anything about this early rifle ?

    my lyman cabelas investarms 50 is 1:24. lyman cabelas investarms is a good starter gun but i'll take a tc renegade or hawken any day. i own 6 tc's 50 to 58. i own 4 lyman cabelas investarms 50 to 58 they look good on the wall. but never i repeat never a Spanish barrel , i repeat don't do it

    better listen to lewis for long range. since to 70's i have killed 99% of whitetail deer at bow range 25-30 yards. god luck and God bless

    If your stuck shooting sabots you need a fast twist 1:28 or faster. if you are bent on the Pedersoli Traditional Hawken Hunter Rifle percussion 1:24
