How many times in the past have you went on his property during prime time to look for a deer? We’re not seeing anything let’s walk the neighbors ground off don’t worry if he sees us we’re looking for a deer.
The latex finger cots muzzle protectors don’t last very long in the brush. If the barrel’s dry when you put tape on it won’t come off. I found a part roll of 2” wide electric tape years ago works better than overlapping
Has anyone had any issues with the newer pistol barrels?I know there’s been some posts about problem’s with the newer .50 rifle barrels especially machine marks and the newer style rifling
But it was his site. The other guy was a bit of a hothead but I agree GB wasn’t without fault.I haven’t been there for awhile but for info on H&Rs the site was hard to beat but on some of the other GB forums there were some pretty miserable people
Because the guy making them was on the site sorta promoting them and greybeard thought he should be a paid sponsor they were both kinda bull headed about it and one thing led to another.I didn’t know the Hubbard ramrod was still available it’s much better than the factory.I’m sure people that...
I used 100 gr. By volume BH 300 gr Harvester PT gold I don’t remember my 3 or 5 shot groups but I do remember shooting 14 shots fairly fast and not swabbing between shot into a 2 inch group.I have a MU breech plug
I almost didn’t post the above post didn’t want to sound like a smart a$$.I was at a range a long time ago and a guy was trying to load that way put the sabot in the barrel and then try to load the bullet In the sabot.

.45er looks great. My Accura MR got sticky CVA sent me a new buttstock and forearm I want to remove the old finish and spray paint the old one.Any tips on getting the old finish off did you use any solvent to soften before you wire brushed.By hand or a wheel?
I had one it was stolen.31inch barrel single trigger octagon to round barrel slow twist 1in 66 I think. At the time Pa only allowed round balls. They we’re not designed for pellets that was a Traditions gun.I never saw one with a full octagon barrel but thinking about it the last ones may have...
The only advice I can give is if it’s a slip in breech plug be careful if you have a missfire.Make sure you hold it pointed away from yourself when you recap
The .45 and .58 are the old Huntsman with a slow twist barrel they may not shoot heavier bullets well. The .50 Sidekick and Huntsman are newer with a faster twist.Rumor was when they making the newer .50s that H&R was going to make a .45.I don’t think any were ever made.
