I need some opinions on my patches. I am using .015 with a .490 round ball and 80 hrs. of Triple 7. My patches burn disintegrat. As in nothing to be found . What is going on and what is the fix ?. Thanks in advance.

Since we last spoke , two Lyman 57 sml have popped up on Ebay.

Mostly target shoot. I did a lot years ago with a rifle I built but not much with the Hawken. Would a Lyman tang made for a .444 Marlin adapt to the tang of the Hawken?

Both the Williams and the Lyman are hard to find with Lyman being closed due to Covid.one on EBAY is going for $180. perhaps they will come back. I have also looked at the Skinner peep.
