    Knight Rifles needs your input....

Howdy folks! No ones PERFECT!8) EVERY muzzleloader company and EVERY muzzleloader has features/qualities we like AND those we DON'T like. Now's your chance to make a difference and post what you like MOST about Knight Rifles and their products and what you dislike about same. I was asked...

Best process for consistant seating pressure - BH209?

No pounding necessary.... The BEST way IMO is to seat the bullet about half-way down the barrel in movement ONE then seat it on top of the powder... After a while you'll be pretty consistent and it will be second nature... Just a firm seat is what you need....

    Bad day at the range.

Mine does the same thing! The sucker shoots great but very high with patched roundball: The gun is made to shoot minie balls and I have some to try once I get around to it....

    Harvester Funnel Point Bullets

I tried 'em years back. They were never one of the more accurate bullets I've tried and I never had the confidence to use them over a SST/Shockwave/Ballistic Extreme/etc..

    TC Hawken loads

Personally...I agree with some of the above comments such as... 1. Put the ball BEHIND the shoulder.. 2. American Pioneer usually gives some of the SLOWEST velocities gr for gr. Try some fffg Triple Se7en, Goex/Wano, or even better...Swiss. 3. I like a .54cal when hunting with roundball...

    Shooting the PA Hunter

Good shooting Dave! That's one of my all time favorite rifles! :D

    Zouave

My Zouave is one of the more accurate muzzleloaders I own: It will shoot patched round balls into one jagged hole at 60yds. Only prob is it shoots them WAY high with no EASY way to adjust the sights to move the POI down: I THINK that is about eight shots! I have some minie conicals to...

Sabot and Bullet combos for knight LRH?

A Parker 250gr/275gr Ballistic Extreme in a short black MMP sabot should do the trick!

Questions On Specs-Trying To Find The Right Projectile

I'd try a 240gr/250gr XTP/PTX and 80-90gr of powder. A short/stubby sabot should do the trick with that twist rate.

    45-70 GOVT. = .45 ML

Oh WOW I really LIKE that! That is an awesome rig! I would like to see some groups shot with it!
