    Imagine if you will.....

I think the entire thing is being hyped up, where was the cry of pandemic in 2017 according to the cdc 61,000 people died in the USA alone? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017%E2%80%9318_United_States_flu_season

    Congrats In-line Muzzle Loaders

That’s a good thing! Not sure if that’s the same outfit or not, the one I went to years ago was way up north near smugglers notch.

    Congrats In-line Muzzle Loaders

I have a true story that happened to me years ago( mid to late 90's) I saw advertisements of a primitive snow shoe muzzle loader shoot in northern Vermont. I owned nothing "primitive" I had an inline, modern wool clothing and aluminum framed snow shoes. I called the guy in charge and asked if it...

The longest shot I have ever had on a deer in 31 years of hunting has been 120 yards! Which is no surprise hunting in the vast forest of northern New England.

    Muzzleloader scopes

Very true! That kind of hunting to me is completely foreign. A common hunting method here in northern New Hampshire or northern Maine is tracking, miles of tracking and running shots through timber is the norm.

Here in New Hampshire a 400 yard shot is only had on a power line! New Hampshire is about 80 percent hardwood Forrest!

Overkill for deer hunting, even the .450marlin is overkill I guess.

My browning at 7 pounds with a 350gr bullet at 2100fps has a recoil energy listed at 37.2. Maybe not as high as yours but still A TON!

    Another question about wads

That's mostly true, but have had many instances where it has happened. Thanks for the information, it's very much appreciated!

    Another question about wads

Which wool felt wads would you recommend? Something that's pre made and packaged. Also do you recommend using that liquid was stuff to attach them to the bullet ahead of time? During a hunting situation fumbling around with all that is just not a good idea.

What Bullet is everyone using ?

I’ll have to try it. My speed holders might not work with the wad end exposed, I’ll try it and see how it works.

What Bullet is everyone using ?

that’s a great idea, I don’t mind prepping stuff ahead of time to hunt. It’s kinda funny, my sudden interest in other Bullets for my setup came from going to powerbelts webste and noticing they don’t have their .444 bullet any longer.

Have you tried shooting these without a wad? It becomes a little tedious while hunting

    Do they come pre lubed?

What Bullet is everyone using ?

Thanks for the info! I’ve been to bull shop’s website, and after being there I have no idea what he has or how to obtain it.i wouldn’t even know what style bullet to convey to him over a phone call.

What Bullet is everyone using ?

What exactly do I look for when sizing my bore for the correct conical size using the caliber sizing pack from no excuse? Or should I just use a pin gauge?
