Has anybody tried Harvester short black sabot with Barnes 250 gr. flat base tipped bullet? I have tried the mmp hp12 sabot with this bullet in my Omega with ok results, but not as accurate as shockwave with short black Harvester sabot. I am out of the Barnes flat based bullet or I would try...

I am shooting Barnes TEZ in my omega and getting decent groups but I would like to try a different sabot than the one supplied. The supplied sabot seems a little too easy to load. Any suggestions.

carbon in breech plug I also could not get a 1/8" drill bit in my used omega breech plugs, so I tried it in a brand new one. The 1/8" bit fits loose in a new plug. I then proceeded to turn the bit by hand and finally got the bit to clean the build up out of the channel, perfect 1/8" hole...

breechplug Put about one ounce of simple green all purpose cleaner in a empty plastic water bottle add about three ounces of water,put cap back on and shake the hell out of it . This will clean inside and outside of breechplug. You can also use windex, but simple green works great.

I am getting good accuracy out of my omega using three 777 pellets and 250 gr tmz bullet. They are hard to load but are very accurate. you will have to spit patch between shots at the range, but you can load a second shot if you need to in a hunting situation.

remington primers I tried the Remington kleanbore primers in my Omega thy were not any cleaner than any other standard primer. I tried Winchester triple seven primers much cleaner no crud ring.
