Went down this road years ago, finally found what works. I sold the TK and bought a MK-86. Uses REM chokes and opens up a whole new world of patterns for you. I know this isn’t the answer you were looking for, and the MK 86 recoils a lot less than the TK.

Great little gun. I used to own one and they are great shooters!

325 grn. Barnes expander, purple sabot over 90 grns. Of Blackhorn. this load has worked for me for years, took a lot of deer with it.

I bought one of these a few years back. Really works great. It has a strap so I can hang it on a tree and skin the squirrels before I head home.

Most people never realize that the are 2 tiny grey glands under the front arm pits, if you don’t remove those, they will taste gamey no matter what you do.

If I remember correctly, it shot conicals the best with 45 grains of 3f.

There is a small metal capper/decapper tool that is used to install and remover the primer. I’ll see if I can find a picture.

I have owned 4 different knight 54 cal. Over the years and all of them shot lights out with Barnes 325 grn. bullets, purple sabots with 90 grn. Of any powder I put thru them.

Shot with my Knight Wolverine 209 45 cal. in 2005. Shot in 2018 with my MK 95 54 cal. 30 yard running shot.
