What range wer the targets? That is excellent shooting all around considering the different brands & type of ammunition used! many .22 will only shoot a certain brand well. i'd say the Bergara is a winner!
Those were 50 yard targets. Some ammo didn't shoot well at all. The winchester ammo is about 60 years old. 🤣

A quality .22 rifle is one firearm that I do not have. I've got a nice Ruger single six with the dual cylinders LR and Mag and an old bolt action unknown make. Thinking I should change that after seeing these quality targets being shot. I was in a gun shop making a trade and the clerk broke out his tricked out CZ with the inline suppressor, space aged scope and custom stock. That was one cool factor 22. Not my cup of tea but cool none the less.

After getting my CZ455 17HMR. I really didn't have a hankering for a 22lr. I started to get the itch fir a quality 22lr and the CZ 457 is just priced out of my range fir what I wanted. The Bergara BMR has a match chamber. It has a threaded barrel. It has a model 700 trigger. It's light to carry. It has a 30 MOA rail attached from the factory.
The trigger is "adjustable " if you call it that. It will not adjust below 2 pounds. Guys have figured out how to adjust it lower. I might give it a try.
Overall it's a decent shooting rifle.
My 17HMR smokes it bad but really the 17HMR is just a fantastic round even without match grade ammo.

I dont like the way the barrel and action fits in the provided stock so I ordered a Hoag. I have a cheap scope on it and am going to pull it and install a Swift from my varmint rifle. Still have some mods to make but am enjoying the process.

Love my 22 Mrod, along with my FX impact m3 in 25 cal. Hard to beat these guns.

Nice thing is, they are really cheap to shoot compared to today's prices.

I bought my first pellet gun about 4 years ago. The squirrel world will never be the same. I shoot it at least 2-3 times a week. Maybe only 5-10 shots each time. When the covid thing hit and I was concerned about a supply of pellets I bought maybe 6M pellets. Not sorry at all. Talk about cheap. My airgun is just a Crosman Prowler Nitro piston. Cheap. Put a swift scope on it. Its always in the back seat of my truck.

Yep, cheap shooting. Quiet so as not to bother the neighbors. Quiet so as not to bother squirrels until its to late for them.

I've researched both the CZ and the Bergara and ended up with the latter because I have a Bergara B-14 that I'm really pleased with. I shot 11 different brands of ammo and got the best accuracy with CCI MiniMag Varmint and SSK Standard Plus.
Below target is 10 shots at 50 yards with the CCIs

CZ Tacticool... I think they wisely changed the name to Varminter now

With the 17HMR barrel I had cut down and threaded.
17HMR groups before bedding.jpg

Then I had it glass and pillar bedded.
I left that barrel on and put the suppressor on. And that's the way it's set up today.

Another bug, lol

There's certainly something to be said about a slow day target shooting. Very relaxing.

What scope do you have on that CZ "Tacticool"? ...

I need to sell a few too. Not enough time, not enough room.
