The 250 grain SST bullet was provided by 52Bore. The bullet was shot through carpet, plywood, and water bottles. The powder charge is 50 grain Blackhorn. The distance between the rifle, and the horse is 25 yard.

The bullet went through carpet, plywood, three water bottles, and was captured by the fourth bottle. The first two bottles are toast. The fifth, and sixth bottle are undamaged.

Thanks Ron.
I wrote an article that was publihed in NMLRA- Muzzle Blast magazine (August 2018) from one of my bullets you tested at 50/35gr and reference you and your testing in the article. There will be more.
But, When I reviewed my summary of your test- I noticed this popular bullet had not been tested.
Looks very similar to the 300gr, except it came out of jacket.
Thanks

Rick, thank you for sending the bullets. Shooting is just about all i do besides chores; keeps me out of the bar.
