Fellas look at the new Shooters' world Multi purpose black. Just a little slowwer (70 fps) then T7. no crud ring and runs at 26.99 a full pound at Scheels. Good stuff. Is my go to now because BH209 is going for 90 for 8 oz here..

Just picked up the last three 8oz bottles of BH 209 from local gun shop for $59.99 ea.............OUCH. Owner told me it would probably be awhile before she tries to restock it as the distributors are charging ridiculous prices now. I see places online charging $80 per 8oz, crazy

Went to Sportsmans whearhouse the other day, asked to chech the powder book. Alot of b209, left it there fir they wanted $89.00 a 8 oz.can.. thats why i will stay with smokeless and real black for the smokers..

If enough people quit using it can't imagine it stays where it's at. Everybody I know who used to use it refuses to buy 180 dollar a pound powder for guns that shoot 130 grains at a time.

Still the best thing going. For hunting, I don’t like the current price, but I wouldn’t stop using it until it got significantly more expensive. Fortunately, I have enough now that I won’t have to buy it for years….

Hodgdon doesn't make any powders they rebrand other companies powder and sell it here.

You are all free to do what you want. I learned how to make my own BP in small quantities years ago because I wasn't going to pay the ridiculous prices and hazmat THEN. My consistencies and groups are good, and my fps are slightly higher then Goex based on my tests. I attribute that to the willow charcoal (which I also make myself).

I group well at 50 yards and 100 yards with sabots, round balls, and even the over priced powerbelts.

I have zero interest in paying well over 70 dollars a can for 8 Oz of powder. That's a big fat no.
